Marc Anderson:

Dr. Anderson received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of

Wisconsin– Whitewater; his M.S. in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins

University; and his PhD in Environmental Engineering from

Johns Hopkins University.Dr. Anderson has been a Professor in the

Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the

University of Wisconsin – Madison since 1974.


He is affiliated with the Materials Science Program and chairs the

Environmental Chemistry & Technology Program.


His research efforts focus on the preparation, characterization and utilization of nanoparticulate oxides.

Prof. Anderson is named on over 25 patents and has published more than 160 scientific papers.
