Dr. Zeltner received his B.S. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute; his M.S. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University;
and his Ph.D. in Water Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin
– Madison (UW).
Dr. Zeltner presently holds an emeritus position as Associate Scientist
in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, UW.
Dr. Zelter has a decade of experience in commercializing advanced catalytic materials.
Research Interests
Colloid chemistry of aqueous suspensions of fine metal oxide particles, preparation of metal oxides with controlled properties using sol-gel processing techniques, photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic processes utilizing titania-based materials, nanoporous materials.
