Prof. Marc Anderson  is our Chief Technology Officer. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater; his M.S. in chemistry and PhD in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a Professor Emeritus  in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. At the UW-Madison Prof. Anderson  has also been affiliated with the Materials Science Program and recently retired as chair of  the Environmental Chemistry & Technology Program. His research efforts focus on the preparation, characterization and utilization of nanoparticulate oxides. Prof. Anderson is named on over 25 patents and has published more than 225 scientific papers. Along with Prof. Kevin Leonard, he is an inventor of the Ur-Water Technology.

It should be noted that Professor Anderson is also the Head of the Electrochemical Unit of Imdea Energia in Madrid Spain. Here, he is responsible for managing a group of 10 scientists who are working on a variety of  energy storage systems as well as Water Treatment using capacitive deionization.
